• virginity is a social construct. it’s not real.
• your body does not physically change when you have sex
• it’s also not a virtue??? in any sense???
• you’re not ‘pure’ if you’re a virgin
  
• there’s no ‘flower’ you need to protect
• you don’t need to ‘save yourself’
• YOUR WORTH IS NOT LESSENED WHEN YOU HAVE SEX
  
• having sex does not make you any less ‘pure’
• having sex does not make you ‘dirty’ or ‘damaged’ or ‘used
  
• there’s no goddamn reason to wait until marriage to have sex
• unless you choose to
• in which case, that’s your prerogative
  
• but please take a moment to read this
  
• also, while we’re here:
•  sex is not limited to the heteronormative traditional idea of ‘penis in vagina’
  
• oral sex is still sex.
  
• manual sex is still sex.
  
• anal sex is still sex
• sex is two (or more) people engaging in consensual sexual activity and/or getting each other off.
  
• VIRGINITY IS A MADE-UP SOCIAL CONSTRUCT
  
• having sex or not having sex should be YOUR choice and YOURS ALONE
• you dont have to pledge to remain a virgin until marriage or wear a purity ring or anything like that
• UNLESS YOU MAKE THAT CHOICE WITHOUT ANY OUTSIDE INFLUENCES BY DOING YOUR READING AND MAKING A 100% INFORMED DECISION. BY YOURSELF.
• you can:
  
• have a lot of sex
  
• don’t have any sex at all
  
• have a lot of partners
• only have sex with people you love
• remain a virgin until marriage
  
• YOUR. CHOICE.
• don’t let any one tell you what to do. its not their virginity. its yours
• also, virginity is a made-up social construct.
• and one last time: having sex does not make you any less of a person, it does not make you less pure or dirty, it does not affect your worth in any way.
